What is this, exactly?
A live ARC and beta reader board that reads directly from a Notion database you own. Add readers as they come in, move them through Requested → Approved → Sent → Reviewed, and the board updates automatically — with a stats strip and a "needs a nudge" flag for anyone who's gone quiet after you sent them a copy.
How do I get access after I buy?
Right after checkout you're taken straight to your setup page to connect a Notion database and get your board link — no waiting on email required. A copy of your setup link is also sent to the email you paid with, so you always have a way back in.
What does "lifetime access" mean?
One payment, yours for good. No subscription, no renewal, no monthly fee.
Do I need a paid Notion plan?
No. ARC & Beta Queue works with Notion's free plan — if you can create a database, you're set.
Do I need to use the provided template?
It's the fastest path — duplicate it and the property names already match what ARC & Beta Queue expects. If you'd rather use your own database, a quick rename of your existing properties works just as well.
What if I write under more than one pen name?
Each pen name gets its own board, set up separately. They can share one Notion database — just fill in a Pen Name field per reader — or use separate databases, whichever you'd rather manage. Either way, readers in one pen name's pool are never mixed with, merged into, or visible from another, even if the same person is in both.
Will my readers see this board?
No. Today the board is a private view for you — embed it on your own private Notion page or wherever you manage your ARC program. It's not a public signup form (that's a planned future addition, and will be a separate, explicitly public surface).
I lost my setup link — what do I do?
Use the recover-link page with the email you purchased under, and a fresh one is sent right away.
Do I need to be technical to set this up?
Not at all. If you can copy and paste, you can set this up — connect your Notion integration token and database ID into one form.
What's your refund policy?
Reach out if something isn't working as described and I'll make it right. Approved refunds automatically revoke board access — nothing to do on your end.
Is this affiliated with Notion?
No — ARC & Beta Queue is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with, created by, or endorsed by Notion Labs.
